Ahhhh Yeah! MTVMusic.com is Alive and Kickin’

MTVMusic.com launches today and I love it!Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my MTV – have since I was about 14 and I probably always will – yes, the Hills, True Life, all of it really except for TRL (because I’m not 12), Next, and Parental Control. And even though I love the reality programing, I really do miss watching hour upon hour of music videos (and yes, I know MTV2 exists and whatnot, but I just don’t watch triple-digit channels).

Well today MTV launched MTVMusic.com and it has already set my morning back by about 30 minutes! You can watch practically any music video on the new super clean site and comment on the videos directly – and they load pretty quickly which is nice.

Ahh…I feel like all is finally going right in this world: Obama is our President-Elect and MTV is back to being MTV (at least online anyway).

Smashing Pumpkins – Tonight Tonight
Green Day – Longview
Weezer – El Scorcho
Beastie Boys – Fight for Your Right (To Party)
Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood
Madonnna – Open Your Heart
a-ha – Take on Me

Holy cow, that’s totally awesome. Every music video ever, instantly at your fingertips. I don’t even see any ads! How is this possible?

I just MTV was tired of YouTube getting all the action? I don’t know how it’s possible but I’m loving it!

[...] guess MTV really is finished with music…no wonder they recently launched MTVMusic.com. Maybe they needed to make room for Whitney Port’s new ‘reality’ show The City. [...]
