Abso-fucking-lutely.

When I first heard rumors that there was going to be another Sex and the City movie coming out, I was a little turned off – although now that the project has been officially confirmed by writer and director Michael King, I’m starting to get excited and feel the urge to strap on a pair of sexy stilettos and sip a cosmo once more.

I definitely had some issues with the first movie (and watching the movie on opening night with my then boyfriend and some friends began a series of unfortunate events that ended up destroying my relationship and not to mention my trust in men in general), but overall loved, loved, loved the movie just as any true SATC fan should.

Anyway, all four fabulous leading ladies — Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristen Davis — have signed their contracts and shooting will begin this summer, which is making me giddy already so who knows how I’ll be able to hold out for the release in Summer 2010.

Michael Patrick King? If you’re out there… Please let Samantha have a ton of sex in the sequel (let her conquer Dante this time); please do not include so much of Charlotte’s kids, but more of Harry; give Miranda a break and fit her into those skinny jeans again! Don’t make Carrie so damn depressed. And let Big truly be the good guy that we all need him to be – if not then I swear I’m done with men forever as well as sequels to movies that I don’t think necessarily need to be made.
