It  is both sad and incredibly odd that the King of Pop is no longer with us (although he hasn’t really seemed a part of  this world for quite some time). Thriller was my very first album and as a child the music video both delighted and scared me. RIP Michael…

I go through phrases where I download a ton of music and then don’t change my playlists for months – right now I’m in a downloading sort of mood. I may redo all of my playlists, but who knows – that seems a bit ambitious.

Anyway, I just discovered the gorgeous voice of songbird Emiliana Torrini and I’m totally obsessed. Haunting, sexy, innocent, sweet, I love each one of her songs. I can’t put my finger on which other singers she reminds me of, but I really love her sound. Actually, I’m listening to her song called ‘If You Go Away” right now. OH!!!! She also sang Gollum’s Song for the Lord of the Rings if that meas anything to you.
