While the 2009 MTV Movie Awards proved a rather mind-numbing experience, there were three looks on the red carpet that I simply can’t stop thinking about…

Leighton Meester looked absolutely sublime in her sexy Emilio De La Morena cut-out dress, while Sienna Miller dazzled in a dress from her own collection, the Twenty8Twelve Viviane green Swarovski mini dress, which I must admit was an amazing choice – not only do I adore the color, but the back of the dress was dramatic and the sleeve-length was just right as well. Like Sienna, Audrina Patridge also chose a sparkly sequined number and paired it with rather simple accessories.

Sexy, young, fun and fresh, all three looked amazing and incredibly appropriate for the MTV Movie Awards. Vote for your favorite below and let me know what you thought of the show.

The truth is that as a woman who works in fashion in New York City, I have certainly had my fair share of men who flaunt the fact that they can buy you the world. That the more they whip out that black Am Ex, the the more you’ll love them. Now I’m not going to deny that every girl (or person actually) wants to be with someone who can support them, but what I really want is to be with someone that I am able to equally support and give endless to. Of course I ultimately want to end up with an extremely kind and generous person who is just dying to give me the world so I guess I should get used to the whole gift thing, but it’s just an idea I’m not quite comfortable with at this point. Hmm – maybe you all should just send me a fabulous pair from Barneys so that I get used to this whole thing sooner rather than later.

And while I hated Bazaar’s American Dream story starring the horrible Tyra Banks, their latest (and very serious) political celebrity feature is nothing short of fabulous.

No longer in the big house, Bazaar puts Paris Hilton in the White Pink House. According to the mag, Paris has a supersize ego, is used to dealing with juicy scandals, and certainly understands out-of-control spending, so she’d be perfect as president. Read below for a selection of their Politically Incorrect article along with my much-needed comments:

Harper’s Bazaar: How would you describe your presidential style?

Paris Hilton: I pledge to support the American workforce by wearing only American designers: Calvin Klein between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Donna Karan the rest of the year. Unless I wake up and the day is screaming for me to put on a bikini for my fellow Americans. Country first.

Casey: Calvin Klein, Donna Karan? Great designers, yes, but those are the good ol’ boys of fashion. What about the small emerging American designers? You know Paris, Michelle Obama has rocked Thakoon at least twice now.

HB: Who will be your vice president?

PH: Rihanna, of course. She’s hot.

Casey: Rihanna is hot, no doubt, but seriously – what about the winner of your new MTV show? How will your new BFF feel when you drop her like she’s hot? I guess it doesn’t really matter. Maybe she could be an intern.

HB: How do you intend to redecorate the White House?

PH: In these trying economic times, I believe the White House should have a minimalist touch: open floor plan, glass and steel, throw pillows, and an infinity pool.

Casey: The infinity pool is a great addition. I also think that if you should have a rotating round bed installed and stripper poles placed in every room – you might want to beef up the camera surveillance as well.

HB: Please summarize your presidential platform.

PH: I will carry out a foreign-policy platform that will transform America’s role in the world to that of a proactive, not reactive, superpower that will use diplomacy and incentives to head off trouble in unstable regions before they unravel out of control. I will also be wearing platform shoes when I meet with foreign dignitaries to accentuate my well-toned calves.

Casey: I second the wearing of platforms.

HB: Who will you appoint to your cabinet posts?

PH: I won’t have a cabinet; I will have a closet. A giant walk-in closet with all styles of advisers, like Michael Kors, Kanye West, Diane von Furstenberg, Naughty by Nature, Stephen Hawking, Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld, and, of course, Tinkerbell.

Casey: OMG – what about Rachel Zoe?! I Die!!

HB: Who will you invite to stay overnight in the Lincoln Bedroom?

PH: I want to put an end to only large financial contributors, lobbyists, inside-the-Beltway fat cats, and corporate bigwigs getting to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom. I will keep that room open only for people for whom it is too late to drive after attending one of my secret-underground-bunker-after-hours parties.

Casey: Come on Paris – you can tell us! Is it Benji? Who?

Introducing the Color Fever Gloss in Piha Black. It looks great in the bottle, but on actual lips in the subway, out on the streets, in bars or bakeries?

In Manhattan you can get pretty much anything. We seem to have absolute access to everything and after living here for over 4 years, I’m rather used to the conveniences of New York. We have dinosaurs, waterfalls, hotdogs on every street corner, over 150 Starbucks locations, sushi at 1am, etc. We also have 3 Apple stores and a zillion AT&T locations…which is why I’m so annoyed at this whole iPhone mess.

I still do not have an iPhone – but I did wait outside of the AT&T store on 17^th and 6^th between 2:33pm and 2:41pm today, in a short line of crazy people just waiting, and hoping, and praying for the next delivery of iPhones. Each time a FedEx truck drove by, people stood up and got excited. I sat down and decided join the craziness for a little bit…before deciding to get a Jamba Juice and go shopping instead.

During my very short-lived stint in line for not-even-there iPhones I saw:

• At least 6 girls in gladiator sandals
• The Stella McCartney spring floral jumpsuit (really. on a real girl.)
• A bunch of Seth Rogen lookalikes and a girl who was clearly thrilled to be surrounded by them
