Yesterday, in between shows at Lincoln Center, I checked out Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lounge. I first met the celebrity stylist and his amazing team back in the spring when we held a press preview at the space for the public beta launch of StyledOn.

With a larger than life personality and a divine sense of humor about fashion, Robert showed me his prized possession yesterday: A monster of a tote created from what once were many designer handbags. Gucci, Dior, Fendi, Burberry, Prada and Chanel – they are all there. Notice the side pocket where the Prada logo placed directly on the Burberry check.

Over the top? Without a doubt. A delightful part of fashion history moving forward? Abso-fuckin-lutely.
